September 2017
Last September chorister parent Keith Stewart cycled 972 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats over nine days on the Deloitte Ride Across Britain to raise funds for DCCA Chorister Bursaries. The Ride Across Britain is widely recognised as the UK’s premier long-distance cycling event. With over 700 cyclists taking part, riders take in some of the country’s most breath-taking landscapes. Starting from Land’s End in Cornwall, cycling over Dartmoor, Shap Fell in the Lake District, via Penrith, Glencoe and the stunning scenery of the Scottish Highlands to the final destination. More information can be found at www.rideacrossbritain.com
Keith raised over £3,500 to be divided between the Chorister Bursaries fund and the children's mobility charity Whizz-Kidz.
